So i’m a petrolhead… But one of the more ‘sophisticated’ ones. I like Bentleys and Rolls-Royces and Mercedes-Benz’s… Even though i do own a BMW, i will publicly admit that i hate it. I have hated it since the day i bought it. I wanted to return it a week after buying it, but because of BMW’s terrible re-sale value, the dealer i bought it from, didnt want to take it back from me a month after selling it to me. Fools. Finally after 18 months of owning a BMW, i eventually got behind the wheel of a Mercedes again. (And i’m still struggling to sell that damn BMW). Now i’m not into Lambo’s and Ferrari’s… and i dont have wet dreams about Koenigseggs or any of such things… but this list of cars would make me happy! PARIS…??? So, i just randomly found out that Paris (Or Parasite, less glamorously referred to by some people) Hilton actually has a show called “The world according to Paris”… And here i was, thinking i’m all original and shit by calling my blog just that - The World According to… Lucky for me, Entertainment Weekly gave the series a “D”, stating that, unlike Keeping Up with the Kardashians , it “fails to deliver any frothy fun and the star comes across as completely unlikable” Okay biatch. Like, totally whatever… for real… yo…

Being so dependent on my PVR, i only got to watch the Oprah finale last night… A bit behind the rest of ya’ll, I finally got myself to watch the last of the last… (because i was postponing it for quite some time and i’ve been living in denial about the final show since it aired in the US in May!) Dressed in a classic soft cream-coloured dress that reminded me of Jackey O, the big O said her final goodbyes in episode 4561. Filled with needlepoint truisms – ‘Do unto others as you would have others do unto you’ – she keenly emphasized the social issues she has focused on over the years. Nearly 30 000 guests later, she had not one single guest on her final show. It was just Oprah. Alone. Talking to me. A very one-on-one moment. A lot of pearl-clutching and wiping of tears (luckily no ugly-cry moments)…but then also fun chuckles at the hairstyles and the Southerness that is Oprah herself. Luckily for us, The Oprah show is still being (repeat) ...

So about two weeks ago, a bombshell from Benoni married a grisly greasy Prince in what seemed to be the world’s most unhappy wedding ceremony ever…why? Coz Bertie (my pet name for Prince Albert) has been fucking all the loose ones in the Kingdom…and now some chick claims Bertie is her baby-daddy…The 3rd baby who’s a no-go to the throne. Here’s the deal: We need to save Charlene and help her escape (for a 4th time) from Albert. She can open up some swimming school for kidlets and call it The Princess Charlene Swimming School for Munchkins or something… Now i’m having T-Shirts printed saying “SAVE CHARLENE”.
